Tremors ( & Tremors 2)

Giants worms devour a Chinese shop-keeper in a desolate American town.

Starting with the best. Only the first two films are actually good. There is a hard to find spin off TV series and a dedicated fan base.

Deep Rising

Giant wormy things from the depths of the sea eat the rich while a ragtag bunch of petty crooks try to survive.

Lake Placid

Official Golden Girls sequel, but with more Crocogator.

There's a crocodile. in a lake, that's developed a taste for people. What more do you need. Possibly the best 82 minutes you'll have.

Theatre of Blood

A ham actor gets his revenge on his cruel critics.

Is this a clever deconstruction of British class and society via the medium of 1970s horror? No. Best avoided if you love dogs.

Like the Final Destination films but with a toy monkey.

If you like this you might like early noughties Japanese extreme gore but probably not.

Moon Nazis invade Lady Trumps America.

So far into the so bad it's good category it almost comes back round to bad again. The sequal has Hitler, Margaret Thatcher and Dinosaurs in it. Also a very unsubtle jab at iPhone fans.
